I have received this item and tried them on, they are very good quality especially for the price, sturdy and good looking to boot:) kinda like me...hehe...(the sturdy and good looking part).

I've had these boots for about 3-4 months. They leak, even when there isn't that much water on the ground. Recently, the rubber ripped so now the boots are worthless. A waste of the Earth's resources. Do not buy!!!!!

I saw these on a lot of websites and they got excellent reviews. I bought them on Amazon because they were offering the best price. I was thoroughly disappointed when they arrived because of the weight, style, and fit. First, they weight 4 lbs each, which is a lot of extra weight to carry. The buckle and silver hardware looks really cheap and would probably corrode when expose to water. They are also made for people with extra-wide feet and monstrous calves. I'm 5'7, size 2, and 7.5 in shoes (i bought a 7 based on other reviews) and I was swimming in these. I couldn't even leave the house because there was so much space in the calf/ankle areas that the boot was clapping against my leg. It is not a problem that can be fixed with the adjustable buckle at the tope, because it is too big all the way down. I also read that they look like leather boots because of the matte rubber--not true at all. They look much cheaper than what they are actually listed as; not something I can wear to work without being embarrassed.

First, let me say that they look great, hence the 2 stars. The second time i wore these boots, both my heels wore through the neoprene lining at the seam. Also, my socks were soaked with water. Whether or not that is a result of the lining problem, i don't know. But, 1. they look great 2. the lining is easily worn through and 3. water gets in. So, overall, 2 stars and 2 thumbs down.
